Do we really need to send in a physical cutting?

We still require a physical cutting physically attached to your COM form. This helps us avoid mix ups on the cutting room floor with similar fabrics, especially those that are shipped to us with no identification – recent example below (yes, these are actually 2 different fabrics from the same exact mill):

COM Information for Identification:

Please ensure your COM yardage is shipped to us with appropriate identification – your name and the PO (or our sales order number if no PO). Our team spends unnecessary hours every month identifying COM that comes in with no mill or fabric info, no customer name, no PO or order reference – see this morning’s example below that had nothing but folded fabric in a plastic bag (also, folded?!?). We spent endless hours on the phone trying to identify fabrics.

We have the right to refuse your fabric:

We reserve the right to inspect and potentially reject any COM sent to us that does not meet upholstery standards – example below of a very thick and very open weave textilene we received this summer that was not suitable for cushion upholstery – too thick for piping and our sewing machines, additionally loosness of the weave allows the dacron/stuffing to come up through the fabric:

Other information you need to know:

Lead time on your order does not begin until we receive your COM control form AND yardage complete. Production clock starts only once everything is received in full. This includes your physical swatch!!

COM is not available for the Sunset West umbrella program. Umbrella program and limited available fabrics
